In January 2020, Tampere Smart City Week would answer this question. Undetectable change is taking place around citizens, but in reality, it is the result of versatile research and development that evolving technology makes it possible. The smoothness of everyday life in growing cities is vital for sustainable urban development.
Tampere Smart City Week is designed and realised in cooperation with local actors.
The Week of events presents how Tampere have solved the challenges of Smart City development and what opportunities it creates as seen from different industries.
On January 29th, a one-day workshop on replication will be open to all lighthouse projects to share common ideas, strengths, goals and challenges. The workshop entitled “Success Stories and Development Challenges of Carbon Neutral and Energy-efficient Mobility, Building and Energy from Finnish Lighthouse Projects” is co-organised by STARDUST, IRIS, MAtchUP, Making-City and mySMARTLife.
During the workshop, the cities from Finland will share their experiences of developing low carbon solutions for energy, buildings and mobility and invite their partners from Europe to share their stories in the discussion.
Registration is open until January 16th.
