AKDENIZ UNIVERSITY
Akdeniz University (AKD) was founded in 1982 and since then with 55000 both undergraduate students and graduate students, 4732 academic and administrative staff. AKD has been growing rapidly among Turkish universities. AKD has 21 faculties, 7 institutes, 5 schools, and 43 R&D centers. AKD financially supports 985 research projects, and with a total number of more than 200 national and international projects have currently been conducting by AKD academic staffs. AKD has a strong relationship with Antalya city, and has collaborated in many city actions from environmental issues to decision of new city policies.
